• Smooth and triangular shaped Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stones are bezel set in 18k solid yellow gold, on black oxidized silver backs, with 14k solid gold french hooks.   Black oxidization is meant to fade over time to reveal hints of the silver below
• Each earring is hand-fabricated in my studio, and approximately 2.0cm long, from the top of the wire to the bottom of the stone setting
• Each side of the stone setting measures approximately 1.0cm
• Notes on Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stones: This particular type of turquoise is famous for its pure turquoise blue color that displays little to no veining within the stone.  The Arizona mine the produces Sleeping Beauty Turquoise closed in 2012, making this beautiful stone increasingly rare
• Notes on my Gem Drop Earrings:  This past winter, I began to find myself increasingly drawn to french hook earrings.   I love the ease and elegance that this classic earring design conveys.  The earrings from this collection are particularly nice to wear for anyone whose manual dexterity makes handling small earring backs a challenge.
